Description As an integral part of the clinical care team, the Patient Care Associate is responsible for patient care and support activities promoting patient focused care within the Specialty Service. Coordinate patient care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care. What you'll bring: Passion for the Intermediate Care Unit 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Telemetry or Step Down/Progressive Care and familiarity with ventilators are required. Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program Licensure: NYS Registered Nurse License Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Salary Range USD $54.48 - USD $74.72 /Hr.
