Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York with one of the following: Associates degree and a minimum of two (2) years of full time, or the equivalent of full time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home A diploma or associates degree in nursing and at least four (4) years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing within the past ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home Basic first aid and CPR certification. Experience in assisted living, post-acute or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with and/or special interest in working with seniors.
