Evidence of current competence to practice as {an APRN, PA, CRNA, CNM} via appropriate reference letters from physicians and other practitioners must be able to be obtained during the Medical Staff appointment process in order to be eligible. New graduate Nurse Practitioners must have RN experience in cardiology, telemetry, critical care, or a closely related acute care setting prior to obtaining their APRN certification. Active, unrestricted Connecticut APRN/PA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Connecticut. ACLS and BLS certification required. DEA registration required.
