We also work with our Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program to care for adult patients when they need additional surgery. Duties include consults in conjugation with the surgeons, intraoperative first and second assist, post-operative surgical rounding, and post operative outpatient appointments. We also run a small chest wall program that requires bracing of children with pectus carinatum or surgical intervention for children with pectus excavatum. Participates in the development of the Service Plan and monthly updates. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration rates. Reports occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, sharp sticks and hazardous chemicals immediately. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
