Job Description Summary A Home care aide is an individual authorized to provide nonmedical services and assistance to an elderly or disabled client. Care Is usually provided at the person’s home, or facility. Nurse Next Door affiliated home care aides shall be selected on the basis of such factors as a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick, ability to carry out directions, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. All affiliated Home care aides employed by Nurse Next Door to provide in-home care services will be 18 years old (or if under 18 years of age be a high school graduate or enrolled in a vocational education program) and have sufficient communication and language skills to enable them to perform their duties and interact effectively with clients and other agency staff. Home care aides must meet all registration, criminal background checks and training requirements as specified by the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau and Nurse Next Door policies. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following- · Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer. · Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide. · Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing and dressing. · Assisting clients in and out of bed, transfers, positioning and assisting with ambulation. · Assisting with prescribed exercises which clients and aides have been taught by appropriate health personnel. · Meal planning and preparation, including therapeutic diets, and assisting clients with eating. · Assisting clients to the bathroom or in using commodes, bedpans or urinals and incontinence care. · Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries, and companionship. · Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered. · Reporting changes in the client's condition and needs to the administrator or care designer. · Completing records regarding services performed. · Driving to appointments or to run errands. · Accurately records all hours worked. · Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling the Company for guidance. · Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements. · Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Job Description This is a 10 hour day shift with rotating weekends. This position will m ainly be at the Parnassus and UCIC campuses for a diagnostic radiology nurse (MRI and CT ) with the ability to float to other campuses as needed. Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients who are undergoing procedures or exams in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at any Radiology site. The RN carries out established nursing procedures to prepare patients prior to Radiologic procedures, during the procedure, and following the procedure. The RN assists with the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases. Qualifications Required Qualifications 2-5 years of recent Radiology nursing experience The ability to wear lead apron when required. Moderate Sedation competency required. Job Description UCSF nurse practitioners (NPs) are advanced practice providers (APPs) who possess the education, national board certification, California licensure, knowledge, clinical skills, and experience necessary to provide evidence-based patient care in their area of clinical practice. They provide routine, acute, critical, and specialty care as defined by their granted privileges/standardized procedures. These may include performing non-invasive or invasive procedures and operative first assist. UCSF NPs are guided by and follow California regulations and the UCSF Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and Policies *. Qualifications Required Qualifications : - Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). - Nurse Practitioner 1: - One (1) year experience in an OP setting or experience as a Registered Nurse - Nurse Practitioner 2: - Two (2) years in a busy surgical specialty in Ambulatory setting as a nurse practitioner Preferred Qualifications : - Previous experience in Neurosurgery in patient setting with Stroke, Vascular experience - Preferred In patient experience in General Neurosurgery and or Neurovascular for at least 5 years. Job Description This is a 10 hour variable day shift working Monday through Sunday at China Basin with the ability to float to other campuses Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
