Wound Care and Other Specialized Care: Collaborate with wound care specialists or other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal wound healing. Supervision and Training: Supervise and provide guidance to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs). Provide orientation and training for new staff members. Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation of residents' care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and address resident needs. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines for nursing care in skilled nursing facilities. Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. BSN preferred. Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment. Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care clinical setting. Experience in electronic medical records documentation. Description The Clinical Supervisor RN coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic.
