Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or other related healthcare setting required. Experience in supervision, leadership, and staff development required. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and standards applicable to long-term care settings. Must be willing to travel to assigned facilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Graduate of a school of nursing with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island. BLS Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
