Job Summary and Qualifications A specialized position that assist with care to the obstetrical trauma patients in a patient/family centered approach, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization, as well as guidelines of professional organizations. The RN Coord Trauma/Womens remains available for all trauma activations and promptly available 24/7 (response times to reflect ACS standards 15 minutes for highest tier activation, 30 minutes for second tier activation). The RN will follow the patient throughout the hospital course (Trauma Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, ICU). The RN Coord works in conjunction with the Director of Trauma Services and Trauma Medical Director to assist in providing quality care to an assigned group of patients. Job Description This Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position is a predominately ambulatory clinic and OR role located primarily at: SLH. The primary patient population is adult. There is a weekend and holiday commitment for this role.
