Practical Nurse (Outpatient) Maxwell Air Force Base has a long and distinguished heritage from the earliest days of aviation in the United States. Responsibilities As a Practical Nurse you will: Obtain all vital signs such as: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference, and length; and perform behavioral health screenings. Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
