Duties Description New York City Children's Center is recruiting a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric to supervise registered nurses and direct care. As Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned nursing and direct care staff including: Directing and reviewing the work of nursing staff Preparing and monitoring staffing schedules Developing daily staffing plans for nursing care Ensuring compliance with established standards of nursing care in accordance with State, federal, and accreditation agency requirements Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside and within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric if they have: License and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State, and 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, addiction, or substance use disorders.
