A Medical Assistant, UCM Care Network, is an employee who performs a wide variety of patient care services under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, mid-level provider or physician in an office setting. Calls in medication refills under the direction of a Physician or protocol. Documents patient care information in the outpatient medical record according to standards.
