Responsibilities The 100 bed hospital, located near the Sacred Heart Medical Campus, nestled into the hillside, consolidating the public areas and service spaces on the first floor. The facility includes a dining room, a gym, and each of the four units have 2 activity rooms—one for louder activities, such as music and movies, and another for quiet activities. There are also two outdoor courtyards, as well as offices and administrative spaces. The x-shaped design separates the 100 patient beds into four 25 bed wings and centralizes staff for security and operational efficiencies. Three of the inpatient units are designated for adults (18+) and the fourth unit is specifically designed for adolescents ages 13-17.
