Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Nurse Anesthetist (Certified Registered) position is to administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories: (1) pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; (3) post-anesthesia care; and (4) perianesthetic and clinical support functions. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Education Program with a Master’s Degree in a related field; or graduation from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education programs prior to January 1998 is required. Candidate must have sufficient sensory capacity to observe the patient and patient monitors. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in both academic and health care settings. Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Operating Room Technician I position is to be under the direct supervision of the professional nurse. The OR Technician I performs various duties to assist with surgical procedures and related operating room activities. The OR Technician I delivers care as reflected in the Association of Surgical Technologists’ Recommended Standards of Practice in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality of care. The OR Technician I possesses knowledge of the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tolls and technologist to facilitate a physician’s performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. When assigned to pediatric cases, temperature may be up to 85-90 degrees F. Must wear hospital provided scrub attire while on duty. Potential for cuts, bruises, muscle strains and exposure to contagious disease via and body fluids. Potential for exposure to anesthesia waste gases, ethylene oxide, harsh disinfectants, sterilizing agents, high steam pressure agents and radiation. Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Assistant Director Nursing position is to perform charge responsibilities in the Radiology Department/Pain Management & Critical Care Transport in a consistent manner; is accountable on a 24-hour basis for nursing care in the department. Overview About the Role Leverages extensive subject matter expertise on clinical systems and knowledge of clinical operations and workflows to coordinate the activities of medical staff in the planning, development, implementation, and support of clinical information systems/solutions to improve the delivery of patient care and hospital operations. Direct experience with electronic medical records is a plus; prior Epic experience is highly desirable. Responsibilities The OB Scrub Technician provides direct care to obstetrical/neonatal patient under the direct supervision of a licensed RN. The OB Scrub Technician performs the role of surgical scrub for obstetrically related surgical procedures. Maintains aseptic environment during set-up for surgery or delivery and throughout surgical procedures. Responsible for maintaining and stocking supplies and equipment throughout the Labor and Delivery Suite, including Recovery and Operating Rooms. Assists with perioperative care as outlined in the policy and procedure manuals. Assist with deliveries, as necessary. Assists with other aspects of unit operations as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program. Certified as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or equivalent required. AHA CPR required. One (1) year of related experience preferred. Must maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance. Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with physicians and fellow workers. Must pay attention to detail. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be self-motivated and work in an efficient and effective manner. Must work in air-conditioned environment with temperature of 65-73 degrees and humidity of 45-55%. When assigned to pediatric cases, temperature may be up to 85-90 degrees F. Must wear hospital provided scrub attire while on duty. Potential for cuts, bruises, muscle strains and exposure to contagious disease via and body fluids.
