186764 Job Description Manages, schedules, assigns daily duties, and assesses the general performance of the clinical staff in the department. Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for the admission of patients, utilizing the Nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Also identify at least one potential successor to the Nurse Manager role. Completes appropriate management conferences. Administers medications correctly and safely; correctly identifies medication in terms of action, dosage, side effects, and implications for the patient; meets standard on medication administration examination; demonstrates preparation of local solutions.
