Have National Certification as appropriate for profession. Must be licensed for schedule II drug authority. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Basic computer skills are essential. Must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Must enjoy long-term relationships with patients undergoing intense therapy. Preferred: Oncology or BMT experience preferred. Participates with other health team members in the development of the nursing care plan. Contributes pertinent information to the nursing plan of care and passes it on to appropriate professional provider. Follows through and implements the nursing plan of care safely and completely according to role and team specifications. Documents accurate information in proper format.
