Job Summary The Manager, Advanced Practice Providers (APP) – Heart & Vascular Service Line is a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) responsible for the leadership, operational oversight, and management of APPs across the Rush Heart & Vascular service line. This role supports comprehensive cardiovascular care across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, consultative, and specialty cardiac programs. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Preferred Minimum of two (2) years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, urgent care, hospital medicine, or specialty practice. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if applicable. Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EMR). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities. Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
