About Our Kids Center: The Our Kids Center specializes in providing forensic medical evaluations for children when there are concerns of child sexual abuse. Serving approximately 750 children in Middle Tennessee each year, Our Kids is a recognized leader in forensic medical evaluations and research in this field. The successful candidate will be a PRN employee at Nashville General Hospital and assigned to the Our Kids Center. Key Responsibilities: · Provide after-hours coverage which includes at a minimum 8 shifts per month, some of which are required to be weekends. [weekday shifts: 5p-8a, weekend/holiday shifts: 8a-8a]. o Triage incoming calls from community partners (DCS, LE, medical providers). o Perform forensic medical evaluations on children and adolescents (birth to 15 years of age) with concerns of acute sexual abuse or assault as part of a multidisciplinary team. · Provide daytime clinic coverage performing non-acute forensic medical evaluations a minimum of 1 weekday per month after training complete.
