Assists with discharge and transfer preparation of patients Assists in the maintenance of the patient environment: makes patient beds, tidies patient room, and prepares patient room for admission and transfer Assists with the maintenance of supplies/equipment and the environment. The Ambulatory Nursing Supervisor is responsible for administrative and patient care activities across two sites and a broad portfolio of pediatric and adult specialty practices. This position provides consistent, unified nursing leadership across Comer Children's Hospital and the Cottage Grove Avenue Clinic, overseeing clinical operations in the following specialty areas: Essential Job Functions Provides unified clinical leadership and direct supervisory oversight of nursing and clinical staff across Comer Children's Hospital and the Cottage Grove Avenue Clinic. Manages Human Resources activities for direct reports including hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, competency validation, and ongoing performance management. Applies consistent standards of clinical practice and conduct across all specialty practices at both sites. Provides administrative management coverage in the absence of Practice Administrators.
