Job Summary Assists professional nursing personnel in providing quality, compassionate patient care by performing tasks involving direct and indirect patient care, using skills and knowledge in basic nursing assistant procedures and techniques under direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Essential Functions Assist in providing direct patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse within the scope of the CNA licensure. Perform basic technical skills which may include: CPR; taking and recording vital signs; measuring and recording fluid intake/output; applying dressings; recognizing and reporting signs and symptoms of common diseases or conditions; administering treatments as directed by a physician or nurse. Assist patient with personal care which may include: bathing; mouth and skin care; grooming and dressing; toileting assistance; eating and hydration. Provide patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed. Maintain unit supplies by stocking patient rooms and supply areas to meet patient care needs. Documents relevant patient care data May provide clerical support to the unit; doing order entry, chart processing, answering telephones, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Environmental Conditions Exposure to biohazard, body fluids and airborne particles. Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment. To be considered for the role, please apply at the following link: Position Details - Academic Personnel & Faculty The University of Washington Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a full-time Teaching Associate/Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) for the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. UW Medicine is the premier academic medical center in Washington state, encompasses 4 hospitals in the Seattle metro area and is the primary referral hospital for the five-state WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) region. The department supports a residency program, four fellowship programs, including Gynecologic Oncology, and is a major teaching site for UW medical students. This is a full-time, 12 month (July 1 - June 30) academic position on a yearly appointment with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for this position will be: $10,417 - $13,750 per month ($125,004 - $165,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Position Responsibilities An ARNP/PA-C is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides evaluation and medical management to Gynecology Oncology patients at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. The ARNP/PA-C would follow patients during their chemotherapy and radiation, providing medical supportive care, postoperative care, as well as surveillance after completion of treatment. The ARNP/PA-C would work collaboratively with the treatment team to coordinate care of their patients. All clinical responsibilities are performed within the scope of practice, institutional privileges and under the supervision of an attending physician. The Health Program Operations Manager is a key member of the HATC leadership team, providing oversight, management, and coordination of the HATC medical clinic, SANE program, SANE Training program, and TeleSANE program.
