The Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology RN Coordinator serves in an expanded role to assess patient needs, plan and provide nursing care and coordinate follow-up care for patients receiving treatment in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology setting. Primarily responsible for care navigation throughout the continuum of care. Key responsibilities include patient education, triage and care coordination. Work with CDI program leadership to plan, develop, and implement clinical documentation education programs for CDI specialists and providers. Develop a standard and comprehensive orientation and onboarding program for new members to the CDI team.
