Job Summary The Nurse Manager is a professional nurse leader with 24-hour accountability for the operational, clinical, quality, financial, and people outcomes of one or more patient care units. Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field strongly preferred. Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Progressive Clinical Nursing Experience. Minimum of 2 years of leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, staff development, and operational management preferred. Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Rhode Island. Specialty certification in relevant clinical area required within two years of hire or appointment. Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC, NEA-BC) preferred. BLS credential required; additional certifications or credentials as appropriate for clinical area. Ability to move throughout patient care and administrative areas. Ability to use computer systems for extended periods. Ability to respond effectively during emergency situations. Manual dexterity and mobility required. While performing the major responsibilities of this position, the incumbent must be able to regularly sit, stand or walk, and occasionally reach for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, move and/or carry supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds, and occasionally be able to bend, stoop, crouch or kneel. Overview Department: Med/Surg Tele Status: Full-Time, Temporary Pay: $70/hour The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Summary This Psychiatric Registered Nurse position is located at Bradley Hospital in Riverside, RI on the Adolescent Inpatient Unit. This day position is full-time at 36 hours per week.
