Overview For Inpatient assignment, assists the attending physician in the care and management of patients on Inpatient units within the hospital. PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status through interviews, health histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic studies.
