Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown is hiring CNAs! Full-time and part-time openings on all shifts, including every-other-weekend rotations. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Wadsworth Glen is a 102-bed skilled nursing facility. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse. Meet personal grooming needs for each resident. Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident. Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner. Methods of identification of residents are maintained. Maintain that all residents are appropriately identified (i.e., I.D. bracelets, etc.). Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description. Other duties assigned by manager. Specific Requirements: Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilize appropriately. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions. Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Arranges supervision of home health aide when necessary. 10. Documents all services and coordination in the clinical record. 11. Completes all required statistical and financial information. 12.
