Description Part time 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (2A) 26-bed unit designed to provide treatment, care, and service to adult patients with acute medical, surgical and cardiac conditions specializing in complicated surgeries. Patient population will include but are not limited to esophagectomies, whipples, surgical-oncology cases, high-volume liposuction, multi-level spinal fusions, and vascular cases. This unit will also be open to medical step-down and overflow patients to enhance hospital throughput.
