Staff Development: Assist in the orientation, training, evaluation, and ongoing education of nursing staff. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure nursing services comply with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Infection Control: Assist with the development and monitoring of infection prevention and control protocols. Incident Management: Help investigate incidents, accidents, or complaints; contribute to corrective actions. Clinical Support: Provide direct nursing care in emergency or staffing shortage situations. Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and other departments. Qualifications Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin. Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility; leadership experience preferred. Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. Meet ongoing requirements to maintain current certified nursing assistant certifications. Interacts with residents, families, visitors, facility and corporate staff. Carries out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required. May be required to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, additional hours, and in different positions as the facility’s needs require. Must practice good personal hygiene and follow the dress code requirements. Must provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test as required.
