Based on the NMH framework for practice, the registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned group of patients that includes diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. Two contract positions are available in a vibrant educational community near Romeoville, serving either a high school or an elementary school. The academic year runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with schedules tailored to each setting—high school hours are from 7:15 a.m. to 2:25 p.m., and elementary from 8:25 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week. As a Certified School Nurse, you will oversee the health office, conduct thorough medical reviews, and participate actively in IEP and 504 plan processes to ensure students' healthcare needs are fully integrated with their educational experience.
