Overview An Advanced Practice Provider I (APP I) is a direct patient care provider licensed in the State of Florida and/or Georgia and provides medical services to patients as defined by their scope of practice and under the supervision of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida/Georgia.Clinical Area: Primary Outpatient Care in Community Health & Family Medicine and General Pediatrics. May perform minor Primary care procedures. Responsibilities Obtains patient histories, performs physical examinations and/or diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests. Formulates comprehensive health management plans for patients in collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical professionals to include progress notes, narrative discharge summaries, consults, etc. Facilitates patient participation in making health care decisions. Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The RN is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned. Working onsite, you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. You will typically work on semi-routine assignments.
