The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a patient-centered 70% Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our Occupational Health Clinics . Our Occupational Health team plays a vital role in supporting the well‑being of University of Iowa Health Care employees and campus partners. In this position, you will work with a population of faculty, staff, and students, ensuring that workplace health standards are met, preventive care is delivered, and individuals have access to appropriate follow‑up services. This position also includes FREE on-site parking as well! Duties To Include Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients. In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification. Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
