Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid LPN or LVN license in the state of New Jersey Prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Proficiency with diabetes care, particularly with dexterity in handling continuous glucose monitors (CGM), such as Dexcom, and insulin pump systems like Omnipod Comfort with using smartphones and interpreting tech-driven medical data Keen pattern recognition skills and attention to detail, especially for symptoms-management discrepancies Professional, compassionate communication style for collaborating with educational staff, students, and guardians Core Responsibilities: Deliver expert 1:1 diabetes care management during school hours per contract dates (September 1, 2026 – June 23, 2027), for 35 hours per week Monitor blood glucose via Dexcom CGM and maintain timely insulin administration with the Omnipod pump Utilize manual finger-stick blood glucose monitoring when required, ensuring prompt action if CGM readings do not align with symptom presentation Diligently document, report, and communicate any health changes or interventions Support the student in safe, active classroom engagement and maintain clear, continuous dialogue with both medical and academic stakeholders Picture yourself making a daily impact by combining clinical expertise and modern medical technology.
