Performs Central Venous Line (CVL) site observation/inspection; venous access device dressing, cap change and flushing venous access device; IV medication and fluid administration, IV pushes (per procedure) and venipuncture. May not make any changes to infusion pump including, but not limited to, rate changes and IV bag changes. Documents per policy and procedure in medical record. During times of emergencies (i.e. Hurricanes, etc.), the LPN may be required to report to work at a location designated by the company, to ensure continuity of services.
