Maintain treatment records/files for each patient Complete patient encounter form at the conclusion of each service performed i. Maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established for the practice Demonstrate ability to manage the patient treatment area as follows: a. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission regulations and other safety requirements; this includes disposal of used sharps and contaminated materials, as well as, safe storage of medications b. Re-order supplies as required and within budgetary limitations c. Submit requests for capital equipment during the annual budget development process d. Maintain work station cleanliness e. Maintain instruments and equipment; ensure all are sterilized, arranged, and ready for use Demonstrate the ability to reflect knowledge of current professional practice standards, laws and regulations: a.
