The APP has acquired the knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary to deliver high quality care to hematology/oncology patients. The Oncology Rapid Assessment Clinic (ORAC) i s an APP-staffed clinic area that cares for cancer patients who require urgent, same day/next day assessment and treatment. Hematology Oncology often require acute care for symptoms of malignancy as well as for the toxicities and side effects of cancer treatments. After an orientation period, the APP will work autonomously and collaboratively with the rest of the ORAC APP team.
