This provider will deliver high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with the hospitalist physician to ensure safe and effective treatment. Essential Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients. Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, x-rays, and EKGs. Perform approved procedures within scope of practice and medical staff privileges. Prescribe medications in accordance with Montana regulations and organizational policies. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
