Advanced Practice Provider Manager

Job Description The summary purpose of the APP Manager is to provide leadership for the health system and advanced health providers in the development and implementation of ongoing quality improvement through an array of regulatory compliance, policies and programs, funding/funds flow/productivity, training and technical assistance, data and information sharing, and partnerships and collaborations. The APP manager will also provide direct management to the APP within the general surgery department and collaborate with the faculty physicians. The primary managerial responsibility is to provide professional support to the APPs and Lead APPs to ensure alignment with the departments and UCSF Health. The primary clinical responsibility is to provide clinical services to inpatient adult patients. The APP manager will be a practicing clinician and administrator.
