Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry Always observe and uphold resident rights Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues Assist other staff as needed on the floors Assist residents to and from meals Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked. Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents Keep environment safe and clean for residents; performing housekeeping duties as indicate don cleaning schedule or assignment sheets. Ability to prioritize and organize assignments. Registered nurses shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years; OR have a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League of Nursing and a current RN license.
