Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in Pre-op and PACU provides nursing care to surgical patients utilizing the nursing process and the standards of care of a professional nurse. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualification : Experience Requirements: 2 years-Outpatient/Inpatient setting Education : Masters Nurse Practitioner – Required -or- Masters Physician Assistant Program – Required Travel : Up to 25% Certifications/ Licensure Requirements: Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License – Required At Time of Hire Physician Assistant License – Required At Time of Hire Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required At Time of Hire- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred At Time of Hire PALS Certified – Preferred At Time of Hire Additional Details: Certification in Specialty/Subspecialty as required by Specialty Department Provides services to all UF Health hospitals, clinics and affiliated facilities as required.
