Job Description This Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is assigned to the Washington Health Cancer Center. In collaboration with the supervising physician and the administrative supervisor, the NP provides comprehensive care to patients with cancer who are receiving active treatment, patients in cancer survivorship, and patients with benign hematologic conditions. The NP delivers evidence-based clinical care, including assessment and management of treatment-related toxicities, oncologic emergencies, symptom management, survivorship care, and benign hematologic disorders. Responsibilities also include patient education, care coordination, triage, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning in collaboration with the oncology team, and other duties as assigned to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
