Summary Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. The SDS/PACU RN provides care in the Peri-surgical setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. The RN is a resource person and teacher.
