Demonstrates proficiency with critical thinking related to preoperative assessment and postoperative care of surgical patients 12. Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate work schedule and scheduled shifts to include equality of call coverage, starting early, late shift. 13. Proficient with specimen collection/documentation. 14. Completes documentation of daily unit maintenance checks. 15. Demonstrates proficiency with OPTIME/EPIC 16. Completes all mandatory competencies within posted time frames; i.e. moderate sedation, annual competency. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Current Ohio RN License and ADN. 2. CPR certification within 30 days of employment. 3. Ability to read, write and explain or describe moderately complex information to other hospital staff. 4. Attention to detail. 5. Ability to communicate well in an oral and written manner, as well as the ability to observe, assess, guide, and evaluate others 6. Ability to read, calculate and prepare medication, as well as the ability to observe and analyze any resulting reactions and to apply clinical knowledge. 7. Ability to collect data, interpret findings, set priorities and carry out established plan 8. Demonstrates competence in age-specific patient care. Additional qualifications for the following units: a. Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit: i. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) or obtained within one year of hire ii.
