Educates by assuming responsibility to individualize and coordinate patient education, and discharge specific education that includes family/caregiver. The focus of care is includes patients with life-threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, seizure, sepsis/multi-organ system failure, hemodynamic instability and failure to wean.
