Job Summary: Under the direction of the Education Director, the CNA Program Clinical Educator is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the CNA program for student education, directed toward the achievement of professional excellence. Serves as the primary CNA Clinical Instructor for each 8-week CNA Class. Establishes professional education resources and instructional leadership for the CNA program and other outreach programs directed to health care professionals. Responsibilities: · Acts as a clinical instructor for CNA students in the CNA program both onsite and at offsite facilities, including long term care facilities. · Provides leadership for the assessment of learning/resource needs and the subsequent establishment of directional goals for student and staff development that are compatible with service teaching and objectives. · Establishes and maintains knowledge of current health care information, and media and material resources to assist and support student and staff education and professional development. · Functions as a liaison with community health professionals to promote hospital professional/education programs and services. · Availability to work a varied schedule, including evening and weekend shifts, on a rotational basis.
