Job Summary This position is a 6-month internship program which prepares the new Graduate Nurse for an RN position in the Pediatric Cardio-Thoracic Unit (PCTU). Orientation includes a combination of classroom and precepted clinical experience. A two-year commitment with a minimum of 36 hrs/wk to PCTU is required after the completion of the 6-month internship program. Shift assignment will be Nights, 8 and 12 hour shifts upon completion of internship. These positions will have a start on September 17, 2026 . Responsibilities* The Pediatric Cardio-thoracic Intensive Care Unit (PCTU) is a 20 bed tertiary care center receiving patients from state, regional, national and international referrals. PCTU specializes in the medical and surgical care of infants, children, adolescents and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. Our goal is the provision of exemplary nursing care embracing a philosophy of family centered care empowering families to participate in the decision making and care of their children. The Pediatric Cardio-thoracic Intensive Care Unit nurse cares for patients in a technology intensive environment including ECMO, CRRT and VAD's. They are required to perform complex physiologic patient assessments in a high intensity environment for high acuity patients with rapidly changing status. Our patients undergo the most progressive surgical and catheterization interventions. Our nursing staff practice in close partnership with the cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and fellows providing individual support and education to families and patients throughout their intensive care unit admission. Required Qualifications* MUST be able to start on September 17, 2026 Graduate Nurse or Newly Licensed RN, who has not practiced as a RN. Applicant must have successfully completed an accredited BSN Successful completion of the NCLEX must occur no later than 45 days from the individual start date PALS certification is required (or within six (6) months of date of hire) or MUST be completed prior to end of probationary period . The floor beds consist of patients requiring every 4-hour monitoring. Additionally, there are 7 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) beds embedded in the 21 neuro floor beds. These patients are seizure disorder patients admitted electively with their anti-convulsant medications on hold and hard wired to continuous EEG. This allows the physicians to identify the area of the brain where the seizures are occurring. Many of these patients become candidates for brain mapping with surgically placed grids to further pinpoint the area causing the seizures. This mapping allows the surgeon to determine if the patient would be a candidate for surgical removal of parts of the brain to stop seizure activity and still allow the patient to have functionality. The nurse-to-patient ratio for floor patients is typically 1:5. Job Type : Full Time & Part Time DESCRIPTION Company: Right at Home Location: Flagler, St. Johns, Duval Counties (with expansion into Volusia County) Schedule: Flexible – Full-time & Part-time available Job Summary Right at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance to live safely and comfortably at home. Our caregivers make a meaningful difference by supporting daily living activities while offering companionship and emotional support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene Toileting and incontinence care Assistance with walking and transfers Meal preparation and light housekeeping Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and outings Follow care plans and document services provided Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment Communicate changes in client condition to the office promptly Caregiver Requirements Level 2 Background Screening (Required) Valid government-issued photo ID and second form of identification (Social Security card or Passport – hard copy) Current CPR Certification Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Previous caregiving, HHA, or CNA experience preferred (but not always required) Why Work With Right at Home?
