Our Registered Nurses perform direct nursing care, administer medication, take doctor's orders, provide education and coping skills to patients around sex education, suicidal behaviors, symptom management, self control, etc. RN is also responsible for creation of initial care plan and discharge planning. Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program required. Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act required. Cardiac rehab experience preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience required. One (1) year of experience working with cardiac patients on coronary care or telemetry unit preferred. OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network. ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
