Position Summary The Learning Specialist p rovides general and specialty specific education to prepare team members to be safe, efficient and competent in the fast-paced Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma facility that renders patient care to patients undergoing either elective or emergent procedures from various specialties. Develops test questions for Annual Clinical Review (ACR) online testing database, utilizing test construction principles and assembles unit specific ACR test. Qualifications Education/Training • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. • Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department. Licensure/Certification • Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license. • National specialty certification in area of practice must be obtained within two (2) years of hire, except in cases where there is no certification available. • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. • ACLS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
