Substitution: a bachelor’s degree in nursing can substitute for one year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience; and a master’s degree in nursing can substitute for two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience. However, neither degree substitutes for the required 1 year of specialized community RN experience.
