Education Associate's degree in Nursing is required. BSN degree is preferred. Unit Description Surgical Telemetry is a 30-bed monitored unit caring for a diverse adult patient population. Patients on Surgical Telemetry have health issues requiring surgical interventions, but there is also a subset of medical diagnoses. Diagnoses include but are not limited to the treatment for Traumatic injuries, Cancers in need of surgical intervention, GI bleeds requiring surgical intervention, General and minimally invasive surgical procedures as well as surgical management for bowel obstructions.
