About this Unit: The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RNs are able to float to the Pediatric Med/Surg units as well as the following Pediatric Critical Care units: PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Emergency Department and the NICU. The critical care RNs function in the role of charge flyer in which they serve as a resource for the entire pediatric hospital, making staffing recommendations, as well as are members of all emergency response teams, including code blue, rapid response team, and trauma activation team. SCHEDULE : This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks) on the NIGHT shift, 12 hour shifts and every third weekend.
