Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments, staff, patients, and visitors. Anticipates deteriorating life sign patterns or equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate action. Modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Collaborates with patient care team members on patient care plan, incorporating consistent use of hand-off communication. Conducts and coordinates patient care and patient transfers in accordance with EMTALA regulations, as applicable.
