We are offering a $5000 Sign on bonus for this position! HOURS: Days, Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation required. What you'll be doing: Communicate with patients about medications, treatment plans, and test results. Assist in ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and egg donation. Perform exams, procedures, occasional phlebotomy, and administer medications. Educate patients on treatment protocols and infertility procedures. Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient. Support retrievals, transfers, and pre/post-operative care. Accurately relay lab results and maintain patient records. Coordinate case management and schedule treatments. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Ensure regular attendance and handle additional duties as assigned. To do this effectively, you'll need the following: HS diploma or GED, required. Valid state license; board certified RN required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the health care team, to ensure quality of care. Performs sponge, needle, and sharp counts according to policy and procedure. Correctly collects and accurately labels specimens. Maintains inventory control of supplies and medications, including appropriate records and documentation. Reviews and verifies patient information, identification, and chart forms. Supervises and teaches members of the surgical team. Confines and contains sources of contaminations. Reviews and revises surgeon’s preference cards and communicates changes to appropriate personnel. Performs and records the order of Physician’s including administration of medications. Assists with patient care in the pre and post-operative areas as needed.
