Primary Responsibilities: Weekend coverage: Performs skilled nursing activities such as: Completes assessment of patient for effective symptom management. How you make a difference The Charge Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the total health care delivery system in their assigned nursing unit, including the collection and evaluation of health status data, nursing diagnosis, goal setting, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. They provide direct supervision of patient teaching and ensure that ancillary personnel only perform services for which they are qualified. The Charge RN is accountable for the overall quality of patient care in their assigned unit. Key Responsibilities Supervising the total health care delivery system in their assigned unit, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, and coordinating patient care with other departments. Monitoring nursing service, maintain accurate records, and identify potential problems, proposing corrective actions as needed. Assisting with staff orientation, training, and evaluations, and coordinate staffing levels to meet contractual requirements. Ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of the unit and maintain appropriate levels of medical equipment and supplies. Maintaining a professional atmosphere and attend monthly staff meetings as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one-year clinical experience. Licenses/Certifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. Current CPR Certification. This position is available only to those who reside in the United States. How you make a difference The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care and treatment plans under supervision of Charge Nurse Administer medications, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures Maintain accurate documentation in SOAP format and review medical records Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and infection control protocols Travel full-time to different healthcare facilities as staffing needs require Additional Details Variable Shifts in South FL locations 40hrs a week Qualifications & Requirements EDUCATION Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing EXPERIENCE One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the states of practice and the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license Current CPR certification This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
